The FLYCA Foundation Inc., will hold its annual Golf Tournament at the St. Johns Golf & Country Club located at 205 St. Johns Golf Drive, St. Augustine, on Monday, November 16, 2020. The tournament will be a four-person Captain’s Choice format with a field of up to 30 teams. Registration includes Range Balls, Golf Cart, Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Prizes, and a lot of fun. Additionally, a “Chipping and Putting Contest” as well as several hole contests will be a part of the tournament. The awards ceremony will be conducted in the clubhouse during the luncheon following the tournament. Sign-up NOW to ensure your spot!
Proceed Benefits
All proceeds from this tournament will directly benefit the FLYCA Cadets through scholarships, Cadet activities, and Cadet quality of life improvements while they are attending the residential phase.
The Florida Youth ChalleNGe Academy (FLYCA) is a 17 ½ month program for Florida’s 16-18 year-old “at-risk” youth. FLYCA is the only program of its kind and is operated by the Florida National Guard. The program is a collaborative effort between Florida’s Department of Education, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Children and Families, School District of Clay County and Department of Military Affairs. The six-month residential phase is conducted on Camp Blanding. The FLYCA mission is to “provide a highly disciplined and motivational environment, free from outside distractions, which fosters academics, leadership, development, personal growth, self-esteem, and physical fitness for at-risk youth.” To date, FLYCA has graduated over 5,238 of former “at-risk” youth from 63 of our Florida counties have earned over 3000 GED’s.
Sponsorships
Corporate sponsorships are available. Gold level is available for a minimum donation of $1000.00. This includes a full registration for one 4-person team plus one-hole sponsorship if the sponsor wishes. Silver level is available for a minimum donation $500.00 and includes one Hole sponsorship. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.00 per sponsored hole.
Corporate sponsorships, hole sponsorships, and prize donations are tax-deductible donations to our non-profit 501(c)(3) Foundation. Sponsors will receive our Foundation letter recognizing the amount of your donation with our tax-exempt number. Sponsors also receive recognition for your contribution in our promotional material and patronage from our participants and their families. Any support you can provide in the form of sponsorships or donations is greatly appreciated.

Donors
Donations are being accepted for the golf tournament in the form of financial contributions and company promotional items to be placed in individual golf packets or any items that can be utilized as an award or door prize during the tournament.
